Our compensating bogie gives a good ride, even on poorly laid track |
The bogies have been designes to give a low centre of gravity and exceptional ride quality. They are fully compensating and equalised when rolling along the track, even on the most poorly laid trackwork.
| Side Frames:- | 8 or 10mm laser cut steel with all holes laser cut. |
| Bolster plates:- | 8 or 10mm laser cut steel. |
| Bolster sides:- | Bolster side plates can be supplied (at extra cost) if required. |
| Bearings:- | 20mm (0.75in) spherically housed bearings botled to the side frames. |
| Suspension:- | Provided by six coil springs to the load specified by the customer. |
| Brakes:- | A choice of systems, we will be happy to discuss your requirements and quote accordingly |
| Wheels:- | Nominal 150mm diameter over the flange. EN8A material. |
| Axles:- | 30mm (1.25in) diamter EN8A material |
