The above style of locomotive has been developed, along with associated rolling stock, to give equipment that is suitable for private use and a rugged workhorse for commercial operation. It is powered by a choice Honda petrol engines, all with electric start. The drive to the bogie is by hydraulic transmission and loop chain drive to the axles. The body is of the two box system, with the front being hinged forward to gain access to the mechanical parts for maintenance. The body and main frame are of all steel construction, with is painted in a professional paint shop.

| Motor:- | Honda petrol engine, choice of hp ranging from 6.5hp (4.9KW) to 13hp (9.75KW), electric starter and 2amp charging circuits. |
| Drive:- | Hydraulic drive using eaton units. |
| Control:- | Dash mounted control levers operating via remote cables. |
| Electrical:- | 12v DC fitted as standard with headlight and dashlights as required. |
| Speedometer:- | An electronic speedometer is fitted as standard to comply with current HSE policy for driver safety. |
| Insurance:- | All KLR products are covered by PRODUCT LIABILITY INSURANCE |
| Paintwork:- | All paint work is applied by a professional body shop. Single colour is included in the base price. Dual colour schemes and sign writing are available, at additional cost and will be quoted for accordingly. |
| Speed control:- | Speed limiters are fitted as standard so that maximum speeds cannot be exceeded. Speed can be set prior to delivery in consultation with the customer. |

Prices start from £8,750 excluding VAT, which will be added at the current rate at the time of despatch. Carriage and transport insurance is the purchaser's responsibility, but this can be quoted for.
